Kung Hei Fat Choi to everyone!!!

Yey! It's Chinese New Year today!!! And I'm at Bo's coffee with Nina Faye. I told her that I'm planning to revive my blogs. 1 year has gone and now checking on my blog, the last post was still January 13, 2011. Whoa! It's more than a year I didn't posted anything.

Ok. Now I'm typing, and this will be my first blog this year. I hope this will not just a start, but will continue on posting whenever I could. I think it's is really time for me to go back to blogging. I still remember that I was able to earn money from blogging and it was fun. I even was able to bought things and purchased gifts through eBay and other online stuffs.

I remembered that last year we had an English comm. training to enhance our skills. So I guess I will be applying it to my blogs to improve my writings. So, K.I.T!! (keep in tune)

It's a Matter of Decision

Whew! It's been a month I haven't posting on my blog.

Been busy attending many things. Last month, it's anniversary in our church. Though I didn't participated that much on the activities but I'm still stressed with things that was happening. I just don't want to post it here since most of it are comments, gossips, criticism etc. More negative things happened, heard and seen compared to good things. But still I'm much grateful with the good things. It lessen my stress.

I'm currently on-leave from my commitment on playing with the band. I usually went to practice every saturday. Recently, I just stayed at home if not sleeping, I'm busy working on the laptop preparing for sermon presentation or doing the webpage. I've learned new knowledge with webpage designing and coding. I did a practice on it and thankful that there are people appreciating on what I'm doing. It's really a cool thing to learn new things. Thanks to a dear friend who patiently taught me. "Gahi man gud daw ko ug ulo tudloan" according to her ~~(LOL)
... But really I do appreciate your patience.~~ (hug beh!)

Hhmm.. It was a new routine for me not playing with the band. I missed it but I really need to have a break. No cifra mode and less committed. I feel like I'm having a new environment. My own observation? It's fine. I feel good and I'm happy anyway.

I still believe that situations happen depending on the decision made by the person who have given the choice to do what he/she wants to do. You'll be happy if you desire to be happy or be sad if you want your life to be awful. It's a matter of decision. I decided to do the things that makes me happy. and I love it.

Christmas Vacation Part II

This is a continuation on our vacation in Baybay Leyte last December 2008.

Dec. 23 ~ Early morning Myril and Te gra woke up early and prepared a breakfast for the team. Around 7 in the morning we leave from Maimai's place and went to IBC. In our arrival the team are done with their devotion and ready for breakfast. After that we prepare ourselves and practice one of our presentation while waiting for the cab.

The cab arrived 10a.m and we hurriedly arranged our things and leave IBC for terminal coz the ship to Bato leaves at 12noon. But before we arrived at the terminal we encounter a problem on our way for us to catch up with the time. Our driver hurriedly drove the cab to beat the red light but we stopped in the middle of the road and was caught by a road-police. Thanked God the road-police allowed us to leave after a slight negotiation. For the record we didn't pay any amount to the road-police. hihihi..

At noon time the ship left cebu. We arrived at Bato around 530 pm and then traveled to Baybay.

Dec. 24 ~ The team practiced for the evening preparation. Also, we celebrated Christmas together at Baybay A/G Church.

It was my first time to celebrate Christmas with the team and in the 25th we went to our home at around 1 in the morning and have a fellowship with my parents and 2 bros.

Dec. 25 ~ Registration day for the participants for the youth camp. We, the team are also preparing the lessons for the workshop.

Dec. 26-28 ~ Youth camp activities.

Dec. 29 ~ Morning Sunday Service. Praise and worship led by the Corban. And in the evening the team went off and travel back to Davao.

Me? I stayed to celebrate the new year with my family. ;-)

Christmas Vacation

2008 has passed. I guess it's not too late for me to share to you what happen during my vacation.

Last December, I went home again for a Christmas vacation. Together with me are my bandmates. We are invited to host a youth camp in Baybay, Leyte.

December 22. My flight was scheduled at 630 a.m. Davao to Cebu. The rest of the team will follow at 4:30 in the afternoon. Me and Ate Grace ticket was different from the rest of the team due to the number of vacancies during the booking. So we arrived first in Cebu City and Myril fetch us from the airport. From there we went to her mom's place at Cebu State University of Science and Technology where we had our breakfast. Then after that we went to the terminal to look for a ship to Baybay. But to our knowledge we didn't expect that ships Cebu - Baybay were fully booked from December 22-24. We have no choice but to look for other options. There was an open schedule on the 23rd but our travel will be via Bato. Ate grace was able to reserve a ticket on that day after a 2 long hours of waiting and falling in line with so many passenger who would like to go home. The ticket worth P200 has only 14 vacancies so ate grace got it for the team and P250 for both of us. It's weird because for the 2nd time we'll be separated with the rest of the team.

In the afternoon we contacted the team for their departure. Also we are contacting the person who negotiated for a cab to fetch the team at the airport. From 430 p.m schedule the flight was moved to 530 p.m. Waaaaa!!!! Their flight was delayed. Around 7 p.m the team finally arrived. I thanked God and grateful to see them arrived. Most of them team members first time to ride a plane.

The team encountered problem with the cab their riding. It overheats etc. Due to tiredness and empty stomach it can't help that there are anger to burst out. It's normal.

There are events that happened. Good and bad but it's a learning. The team stayed at IBC that night. Again me and ate grace was not able to join the team in IBC because we are not included in the reservation, so Myril invited us to their home for us to stay in.

After the tiredness happenings, I was able to spent time with ate gra and myril at the la Terrasas and we have dinner and after that a cup of coffe at my favorite coffee shop - Starbucks!!!..

Kamanlangan Tour

Last October 31 the Core band went to Kamanlangan. We was invited by the A/G church in Kamanlangan for their anniversary. It was enjoy travelling with the team. And also a great experience since it's our first time to have a tour outside Davao proper. It was really a joy for me to be with the team.

Here are 8 facts about me:

1. I played more than 1 instruments but right now I just focused on playing the keyboard. I didn't enrolled in any music school to learn playing the instruments. I just studied on my own except on the guitar - my father taught me. Thanks pa!

2. To those who don't know, I grew up in Sabah, Malaysia. I was 6 months old and my aunt brought me to Sabah or they called it Borneo during their time. I studied and graduated my primary school in S.R.K Kennedy Bay. I returned to the Philippines when I was 12 years old. I once knew how to speak Melayu-Malaysian language, before I could speak fluently but now I can't fully understand. Just some terms. huhuhu.. So bad.. "Terima Kasih!" means Thank you!.

3. After graduating on my first course, I studied basic german language. (Wie heisen Sie? which mean Who are you? , Wie ist ihr name? - What is your name?) cool huh!

4. I was born before my parents got married.

5. I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 18.

6. I once fell in love with someone and was able to wrote a poem entitled "because of one event" . He have read the poem but he didn't know that it's for him. waaaaaa

7. I played sports like chess, badminton, basketball, volleyball, darts.. hmm what else? thinking.. (chuckle) ..

8. I've started writing a songs. For now I already 2 songs in my list. "within me" and "chosen" .

A New born baby

Whew! Everybody are grateful and happy for the new born baby. I'm not sure if you remember that in my previous blog, I wrote about pregnancy and mentioned about our friend that she will be giving birth and guess what, she just did. Yesterday - September 24, 2008 Stephanie Alexis was born. Her nickname is Sam (taken from her first , second name and surname -- stephanie alexis manogura).

I'm happy that I'm one of her godmother. Weeee. Christmas is near, what gift should I give to her? Any suggestion? Just give your suggestion on the comment section please. (chuckle)

Breaktime

Mondays to Fridays -- For the night shift working employees we usually get out for a break. We hangout on fast food stores and sometimes get to buy some food in the convenience store.

Pregnancy

It have been a week that we are discussing about pregnancy. Even in our group this topic takes place when we are done with our study session.

One of our friend is pregnant and is about to give birth this month. Knowing the idea of child birth - the labor and delivery - is scary.

Anyhow, even if we look for other options, there are no other ways. It's a already given to us. It was the curse that started from the origin of mankind after sin took place. As it is written:

"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children.

It's a real pain that only a mother could explain but its a great joy to have a child. So for all the women out there. It's our call.

The lyrics of this song was written during our sunday service celebration. While our pastor was reading the Word of God, I felt something within me that I need write something for God to express my heart felt of what He has done. I remembered on what was taught to us during the workshop with 1 am band. That God reveal and gives new revelation or speak to us thru words, objects, colors etc. in our mind. I just wonder that words came up in my mind that after the reading of the Word of God I picked up my pen and notebook and begun writing. That's it! I just wrote something for God. And I thought of making it a new song for Him. Which one way I could express myself thru singing and playing instruments for Him. After the service, I directly shared it to the team and asked them add a tune on it.

Worship Brings Change

We (PeaceA/G band) with 1am

I was blessed with what God has revealed to us during the workshop with the 1am. It was really great. New knowledge about what God is, who we are and why worship brings change.

There's a story that inspired me so much that I repeatedly shared it to my team and my friends. It was about the story of geneticist experiment that he discovered from dolphin's DNA, ti generates sounds.

As I heard the sound, there's no way for me not to say "Wow! it's Awesome! It was so heavenly." Indeed it was! One thing that also amazed me was that on the geneticist experiment it shows that animals with the same kind have their own common sound but to us as human, each have their own particular sound. That which man and woman has a different sound. Each of us are. Isn't that awesome!? It shows that we are different from the animals. I remembered what God said in His word that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in the book of psalm... We are special -- God made us so special and He even created us by His own hands. We are unique. Amazing isn't it?

I just love this song that was sung by 1am band during the concert. The lyrics tells us that all our inmost being gives praises to the Lord.

It was really a new experience with God. I was refreshed. I feel renewed. All I need to do is to maintain my relationship and my commitment with God.

Friday, one of our HR, Mr. Joie reminded us to come at around 7am for us to leave early for Tukbok. Funny thing we didn't followed the said schedule. Most of my officemates arrived almost 9am. I was also late. (chuckle) .. Fairly enough the jeepney did arrived earlier. Hahahaha.. It's almost 10am that we left for Tugbok.

All of us are excited to have this outing since most of us have this first outing with Jairo.

TV Phone

Monday August 25, 2008 the Philippines celebrates the death anniversary of Ninoy. Only a one day vacation. But for us who works on night shift, will still be reporting to replace the Friday schedule since we will be having an office outing.

Today I bought my new TV Phone.. Weeee.. I'm so happy with my new phone.

TV phone -- I found it so cool. Now I can watch news, teleseryes, etc. from my phone. Awesome!. Also it has some features like a Nokia phone. I'm still getting into acquaintance with my new TV phone. I'll just post the features once I'm fully familiar with it... (chuckle)

Sleepy Head

3PM was our schedule for the band practice. Unfortunately, I woke up at around 430PM. My reaction was: "Watta! I'm late!"..

I got home at around 130PM after having a breakfast with my friends @ Mcdo. I worked nightshift and 836am is our time out but since I reported late on our shift, and I need to stay to cover the hours. The reason I had a late breakfast hour.

I only have 1hr and 30 minutes to rest and napbefore the practice. So I rushed up preparing myself to go to bed. -- and Oh this time I forgot to set an alarm.

"Watta! I'm late!" --my reaction after I saw the time. So I hurriedly prepared myself for the practice. I'm also troubled since I haven't cifra the songs to be sung for this Sunday. waaaa....

So I arrived at the church around 530PM, still dizzzy, then I go directly to the keyboard and listen to the songs. With the help of our new certified Dr. Bigboy, I was able to have the song chords. Weeeee.... Thanks Doc!

We started our practice at 830pm after the Prayer Meeting. But on we will be playing a different lineup because the person who should be leading this Sunday will not be able to join us. So the lineup was changed. A great relief!

After the practice, I go directly to the office. And guess what, the office still close. I've waited for about an hour before I got in. Now my eyes wanted to close, so I took a nap but whoosshh I had a very long hour sleeping (chuckle). ssssshhhhh.. But I still managed to finish my job for today.

Its 930am already. Time to go home and take a much longer sleep.

1:30 in the morning at the office, sitting on the chair with my sleepy eyes and staring at the monitor. I opened my friendster account just to divert myself not to take a short nap. After which I've known that my sleepiness would really draw me into a deep sleep.

I happened to checked on one of my friendster's blog and I just find it exciting on how he shares his life's journey. I also checked my own blog and noticed that it's been a year that I haven't updated it neither posted a story. So I plan to revive myself again to do blogging. Though I am not really fond of blogging but I think I need it for a change.

I decided to create a new blog - and obviously you are now in it. I entitled my blog "inside.. out.." where it will describe me of who I am, what I feel and what I do. The Jhona, that will not just give you on what you see but as well as who she is in the inside.

Starting today I step again into the bloggers world, I hope that readers may enjoy every stories of my life... :) Naks! ..
